Key Takeaways
- Prioritize tempered glass over plastic film for superior scratch resistance and tactile feedback.
- Verify the dimensions match your specific model variant, such as the standard, Plus, or Ultra, because they are not interchangeable.
- Look for alignment tools or installation frames to ensure a straight application without trapped air bubbles.
- Check if the package includes camera lens covers, which provide an extra layer of defense for the protruding rear sensors.
- Choose a pack with multiple units so you have an immediate replacement if one layer eventually cracks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will a screen protector make my touch screen less responsive?
A high-quality tempered glass protector should have no noticeable impact on your touch sensitivity. If you do notice a lag, go into your phone settings and turn on Touch Sensitivity mode. This setting increases the display's responsiveness to compensate for the extra layer of glass. It is a quick fix that solves most input issues.
Can I remove a protector if I make a mistake during installation?
You can usually peel off a glass protector and try again if you trap a piece of dust underneath. Use a piece of tape to lift the corner gently. Avoid using your fingernails, as you might crack the glass or damage the adhesive edges. Clean the screen thoroughly again before you reapply the protector.
How do I get rid of air bubbles after applying the glass?
Small bubbles are often caused by trapped dust or tiny particles. If the bubble is just air, use a firm card wrapped in a cloth to push the air toward the nearest edge. If a piece of dust is the culprit, you must lift the protector and use a dust-removing sticker. Do not ignore large bubbles, as they can cause the glass to crack over time.
Do I need to clean the screen with alcohol before applying?
Yes, cleaning is the most important step for a perfect bond. Use the included alcohol wipe to remove all natural oils and residue from your display. Follow that immediately with a dry cloth to prevent water spots. If the surface is not pristine, the adhesive will fail and leave you with lifting edges.
Are expensive screen protectors better than cheap ones?
Price often reflects the quality of the tempered glass and the effectiveness of the adhesive. Premium options use glass that is less prone to shattering and coatings that last for months of use. Cheaper versions might use thinner, brittle glass that chips easily at the edges. Spending a little more usually nets you a clearer, more durable product that stays on your phone longer.
