Key Takeaways
- Prioritize tempered glass with a 9H hardness rating to ensure maximum resistance against daily scratches and key abrasions.
- Always check that your protector includes an alignment frame to prevent off-center applications that trap dust and air bubbles.
- Look for an oleophobic coating which significantly reduces the amount of fingerprints and oil streaks left behind during normal usage.
- Consider a privacy filter if you frequently view sensitive information in crowded public spaces or offices.
- Ensure the glass is specifically labeled as case friendly so the edges do not lift when you attach a phone cover.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will a screen protector interfere with Face ID?
Not if you choose a model designed for the 15 Pro Max. These protectors feature a precise cutout or a thin, clear section over the sensor array to ensure your face is recognized without delay.
How do I get rid of bubbles after installation?
Use a microfiber cloth to push the bubble toward the nearest edge of the screen. If a piece of dust caused the bubble, you may need to carefully lift the edge of the glass and use a piece of adhesive tape to dab the dust off the underside.
Do these protectors affect touch sensitivity?
Modern tempered glass is thin enough that you should not notice any difference in how your phone responds to taps. If you use a thicker glass protector, you might need to enable the touch sensitivity setting in your phone options to ensure quick input.
Can I reuse a screen protector once I take it off?
Unfortunately, no. Once you peel a screen protector off, the adhesive backing loses its strength and gathers dust from the air. It will never lay flat or stick properly a second time.
Is a privacy filter worth the extra cost?
If you frequently work in public spaces, a privacy screen is a smart investment. It uses micro-louver technology to limit the viewing angle, meaning someone sitting next to you will only see a dark screen instead of your private messages.
